This 40-page catalogue showcases a selection of sculptural works by the artist Anish Kapoor, and details his vision and creative process for each piece. The design process began with setting up a grid system that would serve as the basis for all of the spreads.
Some common, distinctive elements of Kapoor’s work include the use of massive scale, reflective surfaces, and thick, black shapes, or “the void,” as he calls it.
These elements were translated to two-dimensional page spreads through the use of large scale type in contrast to smaller body copy. Images also bleed into the next page in order to reflect the immense size of his works.
